It is with great sadness that the family of Dimce (Dimitri) Minovski announce his passing on Monday, November 16th, 2020 at the age of 84 with his loving family by his side. He will be missed dearly by his wife Dragica, of 63 years, and his daughters Marika (Marty) and Olivera. Cherished Dedo to Natasha (Dave), Jessica (Scott), Jamieson (Kiana) and Dalton (Esther) and his treasured great grandkids Sienna, Ella, Skylar, Evelyn, Grayson, Harrison and Watson and his brothers Alex (Panaja) and Todor (Vera). Dear uncle of Lence, Johnny, Sophie and Linda and their families. Dimce was predeacesed by his mother Mitra (2004) and father Philip (1982) and 2 brothers Socrates and Pandil. He will also be missed by his extended family in Australia and Macedonia. Cherished uncle to the late Vlado (Cena). Dimce was born in Bouf, Macedonian and was an active member of the Macedonian community in Windsor. He was a long time employee and retiree of Chrysler Canada. We would like to extend our heart felt gratitude to the paramedics and the ICU staff at Metropolitan Hospital who went over and above for our family. Family would also like to extend thanks to the staff at Windsor Chapel for their caring guidance. Visitation at Windsor Chapel (Banwell Chapel) on Friday, November 20, 2020 from 1-5 pm and 7-9 pm. Prayers at 7:00 pm. Funeral Service on Saturday, November 21, 2020 at 12:00pm at St. Nicholas Macedonian Orthodox Church (5225 Howard Ave., LaSalle) with Rev. Fr. Emil Atanasov officiating. Interment to follow at Windsor Memorial Gardens located at 1100 Division Rd where he will be placed to rest. Reservations and masks are required to attend the visitation, funeral service and cemetery.
