Obituary of Dorothy Therese Stark

STARK, Dorothy T. (nee Krisak) Passed away on July 29, 2018 at the age of 88 at Windsor Regional Hospital. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ivan of 40 years, and her baby daughter, Darlene Marie. Daughter of the late Simon and Mary Krisak. Dear sister of Emily Bylicki, and dear sister-in-law to Catherine (John) Drexler. Her late siblings; Margaret (Roman), Frank, John, Mary Paul, Rose (Senall), Agnes (Borys), Anne (Gensor), and Helen Krisak. Dorothy was born in Detroit. She worked as a Keypunch Operator at Chrysler for 30 years and retired. In these years, she met and married her husband, Ivan, and resided with him in the Colchester and Harrow area for many years, until her recent move to Windsor at Kensington Retirement Home, which she loved. In earlier days, she and Ivan frequently traveled, and they spent many winters in their condo in Lake Havasu, Arizona. She loved the warm climate. She always enjoyed family and friends, and hosted the family reunion for over 35 years at her home on Baldwin Beach on Lake Erie. She always had a deep interest for life, people, family, parties, shopping and was always fascinated with the newest innovations and technology. Dorothy is survived by many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are requested to meet on Thursday August 2, 2018 at Corpus Christi Church (1400 Cabana Rd W) for visitation from 12 noon, until time of Funeral Mass at 1pm. Celebrant Fr.
