DEL COL, Nives With saddened hearts, we announce the passing of our dear mom, nonna and bisnonna at age 97. Predeceased by husband Angelo (1969). Loving mother of Orietta (Fred) Anderson, adored nonna of David (Alicia) Anderson and Angela (Curtis) Pastorius. Cherished bisnonna to Parker, Graham and Arden. Predeceased by parents Pietro and Santa Chiarot. Survived by sister Pierina Chiarot. Predeceased by siblings Marcello, Arcangelo, Erminio, Giuseppe and Pia. Nives was a proud 70-year member of the Italian Women’s Club, G. Caboto. She was a passionate knitter, crocheter, gardner and cook. Her tripe, crostoli and butter tarts were the best. Visitation at Windsor Chapel (Central Chapel) on Sunday, November 15th between 2 and 6 p.m. Masks and physical distancing are required at the visitation. A private funeral and burial service to be held. A memorial mass will be held at a later date. If desired, memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Windsor. Heartfelt thanks to the staff at Oak Park Terrace, to the nurses of St. Elizabeth particularly Karen, the VON e-shift staff and all the wonderful staff at Hospice especially Linda Britton, Dr. Bergeron and Dr. Ler for their warm and compassionate care.
