Obituary of Irene Shirley Wheeler

Passed away peacefully on June 6, 2018 after 88 wonderful years. Reunited with her with her loving parents John and Winifred Wheeler, her sister Doris Wheeler and her step-father John Enoch Woodward. Dear friend of Norma Martin. In her early years, Shirley was an avid dog lover where she won many awards at dog shows with the families Pomeranian"s. She was also an active member of St. Barnabus Anglican Church where she made many lifelong friends and dedicated much of her time. When Shirley was not at church, she could always be found tending to her beautiful flower gardens where she found peace and happiness. Visitation will be held at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Central Chapel) 1700 Tecumseh Rd. East, 519-253-7234 on Monday June 11, 2018 from 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday June 12, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. in the Chapel. Interment to follow at Windsor Memorial Gardens Cemetery. In memory of Shirley, memorial donations may be made to the Windsor Essex County Humane Society.
