Obituary of Paul Hager

Passed away peacefully after a short illness on April 30, 2018 at the age of 93 years. Reunited with his wife Maria (2003). Loving father to Paul Hager (Nancy) and Edgar Hager (Anne Brickenden). Cherished Opa to Dr. Andy Hager (Shelby), Emily (Dr. Jay Chang), Arthur Hager and Hilary Hager. Great grandfather to 5 great grandchildren. Dear brother to Anton Hager of Germany. Paul will be missed by many nieces and nephews from Germany, Austria, Croatia, USA and Canada. Paul was a dedicated employee of Chrysler Canada and a member of 444 Retiree. He was also a lifelong member of the Teutonia Club. He enjoyed hockey and soccer and lived the last years of his life with many good friends at Amica. Visitation will be held at WINDSOR CHAPEL (SOUTH CHAPEL) 3048 Dougall Avenue, 519-253-7234 on Sunday May 6, 2018 from 2-5 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Monday May 7, 2018 at 10 a.m. in the Chapel. Interment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Ontario, Canadian Down Syndrome Society or to a charity of your choice.
