Obituary of Aleksandar Kelec

KELEC, Aleksandar Passed away peacefully on November 5, 2020 at 28 years of age at St. Michael’s Hospital in Toronto. Beloved son of Goran Kelec (Lidija) and the late Joka Kelec (2010). Dear brother of Ogi Kelec. Loving grandson of Nevenka (late Savo) and predeceased by his grandparents Draginja and Toplica. Cherished nephew of Sandra (Zoran), Snjezana (Neno), and Gordana. Aleks will be missed by his cousins, friends, and many other relatives. Aleks graduated from Mechanical Engineering program at the University of Windsor and was a proud employee of Windsor Feedscrews Inc. He was a loved member of the Windsor Serbian Community and longtime member of Opanak Folklore Ensemble. Aleks never stopped dreaming, and was fascinated by automation, aviation, and astronomy. Aleks’ genuine, kind and beautiful soul will never be forgotten by the many lives he touched during his much too brief time on Earth. Visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Banwell Chapel) 11677 Tecumseh Rd. E. 519-253-7234 on Wednesday, November 11, 2020 from 6-8pm. Prayers at 7:30pm. Friends and Family are asked to meet on Thursday, November 12, 2020 at St. Dimitrije Serbian Orthodox Church for a Service beginning at 10:30 by Very Rev. Fr. Jovica Cetkovic. Interment to follow at Windsor Memorial Gardens. Masks are required at visitation, Funeral Service, and Cemetery. Reservations are required to attend the Church Service and Cemetery.
