Obituary of Gillianne Brassard

It is with saddened hearts that we announce the passing of Gyliane on April 23, 2018 just 2 weeks before her 80th birthday. Loving wife and best friend of Guy with whom she shared 61 years of marriage. Adored Maman of Michel Brassard, Martin Brassard and wife Sylvia, Nancy Brassard and Maude Brassard-Hanns and husband Eric. Cherished Grand-Maman of Joey and wife Crystal, Michel and wife Nina, Alain, Guillaume, Angelique, Joelle, Renee and great Grand-Maman of Gavyn, Alex and Max. Dear sister of Francoise Lesperance and husband Florent, Edith Marcil and husband Paul, Lawrence Tremblay and wife Jacqueline, Aurelien Tremblay and late wife Joy, Rolande Tremblay and husband Gilles, and late Jullo Tremblay and wife Pierrette. Gyliane was the proud owner of Gyliane Aesthetic Salon, La Boite a Pain and Chez Gyliane Restaurant for many years. Gyliane will always be remembered for her Joie de Vivre and the unconditional love that she had for her family. Visitation will be held at WINDSOR CHAPEL (SOUTH CHAPEL) 3048 Dougall Avenue, 519-253-7234 on Saturday April 28, 2018 from 2-4 p.m. and 6 p.m. until time of Celebration of Life at 8:00 p.m. in the Chapel. Cremation to follow. In memory of Gyliane, memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Windsor and Essex County.
