Obituary of Alessandro De Marco

It is with saddened hearts that we announce the passing of Alessandro on April 9, 2018 at 84 years of age. Loving husband of Divina (nee Morrone) with whom he shared 61 years of marriage. Reunited with his parents Michele and Maria De Marco and his in-laws Salvatore and Rosina Morrone. Cherished Father of Michele De Marco and wife Carol, Battista De Marco and wife Dorina, and Maria Pellarin (nee De Marco). Adored Nonno of Michael, Katrina, Kyle, Alexandria, Andrew, Divina (Shawn), Alessandro, Felicia, Daniel, Fabio, and Mathew. Dear brother of Philomena (late Jerry) Bozzo, late Guerino (Chiara) De Marco, and Rita (Giuseppe) Filicetti. Brother- in-law of late Concetta (late Giuseppe) Bisciglia, late Giovanni (late Luisa) Morrone, Giuseppina (late Santo Cozzolino and late Giovanni) Radegonda and Franca (late Oscaro) De Rose. Much loved Godfather of Giuseppina Lesperance. He will also be missed dearly by many nieces and nephews in Canada, U.S.A. and Italy. Alessandro was a devoted parishioner at St. Angela Merici Church and a member of the Holy Name Society. Above all, his unwavering love and devotion to his family and garden will never be forgotten. Visitation will be held at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Central Chapel) 1700 Tecumseh Rd. East, 519-253-7234 on Wednesday April 11, 2018 from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Prayers Wednesday at 4:30 p.m. Funeral Service Thursday April 12, 2018 at 10:15 a.m. from the Funeral Home, then to St. Angela Merici Church for Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. Entombment to follow at Windsor Memorial Gardens Cemetery. In memory of Alessandro, memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the Scalabrini Foundation.
