Obituary of Ernest Martin Colangelo

COLANGELO, Ernest (Ernie)Passed away peacefully in the presence and love of family and friends on April 1, 2018 in Windsor, ON at the age of 70 years. Beloved husband of 46 years to Judy. Loving father of Mark (Mac) (Mandy Girard). Cherished brother of Mariangela Scotella (Sam), Madeline Rado (late Chris), and Evelyn (Lulu) Marossey (Richard). Ernie will also be lovingly remembered by his many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends, especially his best friend Joe Papineau and his wife Susan. Ernie was retired after having run a very successful restaurant business at Lelli"s in Detroit. Ernie was well loved by all who knew him and he loved deeply. He was a mentor who left a lasting impression on all who had the privilege of knowing him. Ernie was well known for his vivacious personality and will be deeply missed. Visitation will be held at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Banwell Chapel) 11677 Tecumseh Rd. E. 519-253-7234 on Thursday, April 5, 2018 from 2-5 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service on Friday, April 6, 2018 at 11:30 a.m. in the chapel. Cremation to follow.
