Obituary of Mike Kaschak

It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Mike on February 2, 2018 surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband and best friend to Margaret with whom he shared 53 years of marriage. Loving father to Karen, Michael (Cleofe), Debbie Kaschak (Tom Docherty) and Shelley Kaschak (Al Shipley). Cherished Grandpa to Paige, Thomas, Brenna, Sam and Anika. Reunited with brothers Nick, Bill "Biggie," John, and Eddie. Mike will be missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mike dedicated many years to the Windsor South Canadians Little League Baseball. He was fiercely passionate about baseball, and could often be found on the baseball diamond coaching and volunteering his time. Mike spent his 42-year career dedicated to Ford Canada. A special thank you to Mike's support team, especially Dr. Maraj and staff, PSW Leonita, CCAC, Bayshore and VON nurses and PSWs, Cancer Centre and Hospice of Windsor staff for their care and compassion throughout his journey. Visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Central Chapel)1700 Tecumseh Road, East 519-253-7234 on Tuesday, February 6, 2018 from 2:00 pm " 5:00 pm and from 7:00 pm " 9:00 pm. A Celebration of Mike"s Life will take place in the funeral home chapel on Wednesday, February 7, 2018 at 11:00 am. Burial will follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
