Obituary of Mariano Patag Ras

Passed away peacefully surrounded by family on November 15, 2017 at the age of 83. Beloved husband of Concepcion "Connie" for 56 wonderful years. Remembered forever by his children Carlos (Jackie), Marrisa (Raul) Montero, Pompea (Ed) Ramirez and cherished Lolo to Jordan, Mitchell, Spencer, Ryann, Aaron, Ryan, Ian, Jade and Joel. Mariano immigrated to Canada in 1968 and worked diligently in his trade as a machinist to bring his family here only a year later. He had a great passion for meeting new people while doing the things he loved; singing, bowling, golf and the Windsor Race Track. Visitation will be held at WINDSOR CHAPEL (South Chapel) 3048 Dougall Ave. 519-253-7234 on Saturday, Nov. 18, 2017 from 6-8pm and Sunday, Nov. 19, 2017 from 2-4 and 6-8pm. Family and friends are asked to gather directly at Our Lady of Assumption Parish (McEwan Campus)( 711 McEwan) on Monday, November 20, 2017 for his Mass of Christian Burial at 10am. Interment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery. A heartfelt thank you goes out to everyone that made it possible for us to care for Mariano at home over the last couple years.
