Obituary of Helena Startek

Entered into eternal rest with her family by her side on November 9, 2017 at 99 years of age. Beloved mother-in-law of Maria. Cherished Babcia of Marcin, Marta and Agnes. Reunited with her loving son Marian Szczesniak (2012). Predeceased by her parents Adam and Agnieszka Busko and her husband's Marcin Szczesniak (1944) and Marcin Startek (1980). Helena was a proud member of the Boarder City Polish Canadian Club and will be remembered for her love of gardening. Visitation will be held at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Central Chapel) 1700 Tecumseh Rd. East, 519-253-7234 on Sunday November 12, 2017 from 2-4 p.m. Prayers Sunday at 3:45 p.m. Visitation will continue at Holy Trinity Polish Church (1035 Ellis St. E) on Monday November 13, 2017 from 9:00 a.m. until time of Funeral Mass at 9:30 a.m. Interment to follow at Windsor Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
