Obituary of Clifford William Joseph Matte

It is with crushed hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Father and Grandfather after a great life at the age of 90. Reunited with his beloved wife of 61 years, Leona June (Cavanagh, 2012). Cherished father of Darlene Shaw (Bruce), Exeter, Ont., Jan Matte-Gasparovic (Joe), Gary Matte (Leslie), Gail Matte Leach (Roy) all of Tecumseh, Ont. and Holly Matte. Papa will be forever loved by his grandchildren Ben, Miranda, Mark, Mallory, Mitchell, Garrison, Griffin, Silken and Jazz. Predeceased by his parents Norman and Mamie Matte, brother Gordon and sister Norma Bunnie. Cliff will be missed be many nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place. Memorial Visitation will take place at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Banwell Chapel) 11677 Tecumseh Rd. E. 519-253-7234 on Saturday November 4, 2017 from 11-2 pm. In lieu of flowers, if possible, consider donating blood, or demonstrate an act of kindness to others (as Cliff did for many years).
