Obituary of Douglas Armand Denomey

Doug passed away surrounded by family at Hospice of Windsor on October 17, 2017 at the age of 74. Highschool sweetheart and loving husband of Yvonne (nee Schiller). Dear father of Sherry (Kevin) Albeartie and Jay (Cindy (nee Best)) Denomey. Loving Papa to Sarah, Julia and Larissa. Predeceased by his parents, Armand "Bonhomme" and Leo and Evelyn Denomey. Beloved brother of the late Ernie (2012) (Jennifer) and Bill (Jan) Denomey. Doug will be remembered always by his many nieces and nephews. Thank you to the entire staff at the Cancer Centre at Met Campus and to Dr. Kanjeekal for being our angels through this difficult journey. Special thanks to Dr. Rukavina from Hospice and also Dave Shaw from St. Elizabeth for their care and compassion. Cremation arrangements entrusted to WINDSOR CHAPEL (Banwell Chapel) 11677 Tecumseh Rd. Family and friends are asked to gather directly at St. Simon and St. Jude Church (488 St. Charles St., Belle River) for visitation on Saturday, October 21, 2017 from 10:30am until the time of his Memorial Mass at 1:00pm. In lieu of flowers, donations in Doug"s memory to the Hospice of Windsor and Essex County would be appreciated.
