Obituary of Margaret Rose Zannier

Zannier, Margaret Rose (nee Borschke)We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Margaret following a brief battle with cancer. She passed peacefully in the arms of her husband of 42 years, Danilo. She is the beloved mother of Lia (Stratford, ON) and Carmen (Kitchener, ON). Born in Leamington, the daughter of Frank (1978) and Helen (1997), she was predeceased by her brother Bernard (2017). Marg will be missed by siblings, Frank & Judy, Martha & Pat Gleeson, Helen & John Garner, Greg & Ladine, and sisters-in-law, Valeria Perry & Robert, Luciana & Craig Allan, and Jayne Borschke. There was a special place in her heart for all her nieces and nephews and their "little ones". Margaret dedicated 36 years of her life to teaching and coaching. Her career, which included a stint with D.N.D. in Germany, finished at "Good Old L.D.S.S.".A devout woman, she spent her non-working life tending to her family and gardens, and rearranging sand traps with her favourite group: The Monday Morning Ladies. She will be missed. In lieu of flowers, if you so wish, donations to Hospice of Windsor or Cancer Centre of Windsor would be appreciated by the family. Visitation will be held at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Banwell Chapel) 11677 Tecumseh Rd E 519.253.7234 on Thursday, September 14 from 2-5 & 7-9pm. Prayers will be held at 8pm. Visitation will resume on Friday, September 15 from 9am at Good Shepherd Parish (462 Advance Blvd, Lakeshore) until time of Funeral Mass 10am. Interment to follow at Windsor Memorial Gardens.
