Obituary of Giovanna Maria Sbrocca

SBROCCA, Giovanna Maria (nee Cirino). On August 25, at the age of 85, Giovanna was reunited with her husband Nicolino (1992) and first child Carmela (1956). She will be greatly missed, but never forgotten, by her daughter Lucia (Paolo Ferrara) and son Dino. She was a loving nonna to Daniel and Jenna Sbrocca who filled her heart with joy, and to Pierre Ferrara (Tammy), Sabrina Broderick (Michael), Chris Barresi (Dana) and Tania Heard (Chris). Adored nonni to Leland Broderick. Survived by sister Incoronata Cirino (late Antonio), brother Raffaele (Michelina) of Italy, sister in-law Giovanna (late Antonio), in-laws Rosaria Sbrocca (late Lino), Marina Camino (late Joe), Amalia Magri (Domenic), Mike Sbrocca (Cheryl). Predeceased by parents Domenico and Marta Cirino, in-laws Sabatino and Carmela Sbrocca, sisters Francesca Lemmo (Giovanni) and Michelina Petta (Nicola), sister in-law Angelina Sbrocca, and brother in-law Pat Sbrocca. Giovanna will also be missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Visitation will be held at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Central Chapel) 1700 Tecumseh Rd. East 519-253-7234, on Monday August 28, 2017 from 2-4:30pm (with Parish prayers at 4:30pm) and 7-9pm. Funeral Services on Tuesday, August 29, 2017 at 8:45am from the funeral home to St. Angela Merici Church, 980 Louis Avenue, for Funeral Mass at 9:30am. Burial to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
