Obituary of Arlene Rose Payne

September 17, 1939-August 15, 2017 Arlene Rose Payne (nee Benson) died peacefully on August 15, 2017. She is survived by her best friend and husband of over 56 years Donald and two loving daughters Dana (Kevin) and Julie (David). Arlene was the very proud Grandmother to Maranda and Jeremy and special Grandma to Amanda and Julia. Arlene lived most of her life in Windsor, working at G.M. Trim for 33 years. Arlene was an amazing friend and will be forever remembered by the many people with whom she shared coffee and conversation. Arlene was always ready to lend a listening ear and this was evident by the many people who supported her though this journey. Arlene's life will be celebrated on Saturday, August 19 with visitation at 10 am and service at 11 am at St. Augustine Church, 5145 Wyandotte Street E. In lieu of flowers, donations to Transition to Betterness would be appreciated as Arlene strongly believed in giving back.
