Obituary of Anthony Joseph Paleczka

PALECZKA, Anthony "Tony"Passed peacefully on August 10th, 2017 at Banwell Gardens in his 87th year. Beloved husband to Mary (nee Moskwa) for 47 years. Dear father of Jim Palechka and wife Corrie, Tom Paleczka, Ken Hyra and wife Sheila Somerville and the late Daniel Paleczka and his wife Enza. Proud grandfather of Genia, Teo, Tarran, Curtis (Kaetlyn), Jillian (Mike), Anthony, Alec and Ian. Tony has had a long career with the financial industry, graduating from McGill University with a Bachelor of Commerce degree. He came to Windsor in 1976 and became the first person with a CFP designation. He worked for many years at Royal Trust, before moving to Sun Life Financial and finishing his career independently. In his personal life, he enjoyed travelling with his wife as well as fishing, golfing and his love of photography. Visitation will be held at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Banwell Chapel) 11677 Tecumseh Rd. E. 519-253-7234 on Friday, August 18th, 2017 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm. Anthony"s Funeral Service will be held at the Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, August 19th, 2017 at 10:30am with cremation to follow. A special thankyou to the staff at Banwell Gardens and to Dr. Henry Fortuna for all your care and compassion given to Tony.
