Obituary of Milan Juricic

JURICIC, Milan.It is with great sadness and broken hearts that we announce the passing of our dear brother, brother in-law, and uncle Milan on August 1st, 2017 at the age of 67. Beloved son of Iva (2006) & Pasko Juricic (1962) of Croatia. Cherished and respected brother of Vinko (2008) (Iva), Mirko (Jasna), all of Tecumseh and Barisa (Milka), Ante (Neda), Joka Juricic (Stipe), and Ana Petricevic (Ante), all of Croatia. Dearest uncle of Dr. Pasko Juricic, Dr. Ana Marija Juricic - Hasoulas (Harry), Michael Juricic, Janet Maceroni, Wanda Juricic, Dr. Zora Juricic - Gilmore (Edward), as well as many nieces and nephews in Croatia. Adored great-uncle to Joseph, Mark, Sabrina Maceroni, Vasilia, Ava, Athan, Viktoria Hasoulas, Owen and Katelyn Gilmore, as well as many in Croatia. Milan followed his brothers and immigrated to Canada in 1971 at the young age of 22 years old. He found employment at Chrysler Canada (CAW #444), and after 30 years of dedicated service, retired in 2001. Milan was a devoted member of St. Francis of Assisi Croatian Catholic Church and the Soccer Club "Croatia" since his arrival to Canada. Milan enjoyed watching soccer games at the "Zemljiste", having conversations with his regular "Coffee Buddies" at Tim Horton's, and fixing things around his home. Visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Banwell Chapel) 11677 Tecumseh Rd. E. 519.253.7234 on Friday, August 4, 2017 from 3-5 pm and 7-9 pm. Parish prayers Friday at 8 pm. Funeral Services on Saturday, August 5, 2017 at 9:30 am from the funeral home then to St. Francis of Assisi Croatian Catholic Church for Funeral Mass at 10:30 am. Entombment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to crkvu Sv. Mihovil, Prolozac, Croatia, St. Francis of Assisi Church Building Fund, or Hospice of Windsor. The family would also like to express their gratitude to the ambulance attendants, emergency response services, I.C.U. doctors and nurses at Windsor Regional Hospital (Met & Ouellette Campus) for their professionalism and care.
