Obituary of Bruno Leonardo Pelle

PELLE, Bruno LeonardoPassed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on July 22, 2017 at the age of 83. Beloved and devoted husband of 61 years to his wife Maria Giuditta (nee Marvelli). Loving and devoted father to Rosa (the late Roberto, 2007) Verbora , Anna (John) Verbora, Domenic (Elisa Di Pietro) Pelle, and Tony (Kristina) Pelle. Cherished and proud Nonno to Christina (Paolo) Pannunzio, Stephanie Verbora (Steve Garneau), Michael Verbora (Tiffany Florindo), Antonio Verbora, David (Samantha) Verbora, Jessica Verbora (Robert), Brianna Pelle and Brendan Pelle. Adored Bisnonno to Alessia, Sienna, Paul Pannunzio, Jase Garneau and soon-to-be-arriving baby Charlotte Verbora. Dear brother to Antonio (Rosina) Pelle. Loving son to the late Maria Rosa (1972) and Domenico Pelle (1999). Dear son-in-law to the late Sarafina (1980) and Domenico (1992) Marvelli. Loved brother-in-law to Maria Concetta (the late Bruno, 2012) Lapico, Maria (the late Antonio, 2009) Marvelli, Maria Teresa (Vincenzo) Ferreri of Italy, Filomena (the late Vincenzo, 2016) Marvelli. Loving Zio to many nieces and nephews in Windsor, Italy and Australia. Bruno was born in Ardore, Reggio Calabria, Italy and moved to Canada with his family in 1966. He will be remembered for the love and devotion he had for his family, the love of making wine and gardening. A special thank you to Dr. Malus, Dr. Askew and the caring staff in ICU and the 7th floor at Windsor Regional Hospital, Ouellette Campus, for their compassion throughout his journey. Visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Banwell Chapel), 11677 Tecumseh Rd. E. (519-253-7234) on Thursday, July 27, 2017 from 2:00pm " 5:00 pm and 7:00 pm " 9:00 pm. Parish prayers at 4:30 pm. Funeral Services on Friday, July 28, 2017 at 8:30 am from the funeral home to St. Angela Merici Church for Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 am. Entombment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
