Obituary of Dr. Wilfrid John Pepin DDS

PEPIN, Dr. Wilfrid John "Jack" DDS Passed away peacefully on June 30, 2017 in his 100th year. Reunited with his loving wife Erma Marie (nee McAuliffe). Loving father of the late Gregory (1950), Dr. John and wife Brenda, Denise Presland and husband Andy, and Michelle Fairfield and husband James. Cherished Pipi of Christine (Gerard), Marc, Ashlyn (Joe), Gregory, late Diane, and Lindsay. Great Pipi of Alex, Andrew, Aiden, and Alexis. Dear brother of the late Peggy Reid. Dear uncle of Jaye Schwalm. Jack served in WWII in the Dental Corps. He graduated from University of Toronto Dental School in 1942 where he was first in his class and continued to practice dentistry in Windsor for 50 years. He was a long time member of the Windsor Essex County Dental Society, an avid boater and past Fleet Captain and Fleet Surgeon at The Windsor Yacht Club. We all will remember him for his love of life which included cooking classes, golfing, wood carving, painting, flying, building, crashing and rebuilding radio controlled airplanes. A special thank you to Kim and Dr. Tony Fellbaum and the staff at Royal Oak for your care and compassion. Visitation will be held at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Banwell Chapel) 11677 Tecumseh Rd. East on Tuesday July 4, 2017 from 6-9 p.m. Prayers at 7:30 p.m. Relatives and friends are invited to gather directly at Good Shepherd Parish (St. Gregory Site) on Wednesday July 5, 2017 for visitation from 10:30 a.m. until time of the Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. Private family burial to follow.
