Obituary of Tereza Bacic

BACIC, Tereza (nee: Ivkovic)It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of our loving Mama, Baka and PranBaka on June 26, 2017 at the age of 87 years. Re-united with her beloved husband Tomo (2015). Loving mother to Barbara Kasana of Windsor (late husband Josip), Kata Jurkovic of Colchester (late husband Veno), Bob Bacic and wife Monica of Chatham, (late son Mile Bacic), Frank Bacic of Windsor and Steve Bacic of Vancouver. Cherished Baka to Kathy Kasana [Ogi], Frank Kasana, Christine Kasana-DeBruyn [Brent], Stanislav Jurkovic, Vjenceslav Jurkovic [Marina], (late Andrew Bacic), Joyce, Matthew, Justin, Emma, Steve Jr. and Lilly Bacic. PranBaka to (late Evaneja Jurkovic), Oktavijan, Henrik and Dominik Jurkovic and Brayden DeBruyn. Daughter of the late Mile and Jurka Ivkovic. Predeceased by siblings Vica Mitrovic, Sime and Mitar Ivkovic. Tereza is survived by many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Bacic was a faithful and devoted member of St. Francis of Assisi Croatian Catholic Church. Our sincerest heartfelt thank you to those at Country Village who gave compassionate loving care to our Mama. Thank you also to the wonderful staff at Met Hospital who made our Mama's last days comfortable. Visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Banwell Chapel) 11677 Tecumseh Rd. E. 519.253.7234 on Friday, June 30, 2017 from 3-5pm and 7-9pm. Parish prayers Friday at 8pm. Funeral services on Saturday, July 1st, 2017 at 9:45am from the funeral home then to St. Francis of Assisi Croatian Catholic Church for Funeral Mass at 10:30am. Interment to follow at Windsor Memorial Gardens. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to one of the two listed churches in Croatia - Crkva Male Gospe in Lisicic, or Crkva Uznesenja Blazene Djevice Marije in Skabrnja.
