Obituary of Joseph Ockay

Has gone to join his beloved wife Mary (nee Keren, 2015) on June 21, 2017 at the age of 92. Joe was born in Czechoslovakia to the late Joseph and Stefina Ockay. Much loved uncle of Nicholas and wife Marilyn Keren and great uncle of Alanna and Nicholas Keren whom he cherished deeply. Also loved by his niece Anna and husband Joe Paganik and their daughter Kathy. A special thank you to the care givers for all the kindness and compassion given to Joe, which made it possible for him to have a good quality of life at home. Visitation will be held at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Central Chapel) 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E 519-253-7234 on Friday, June 23, 2017 from 2-4 and 6-8pm with parish prayers at 7:30pm. Funeral Services on Saturday, June 24, 2017 at 9:45am from the Funeral Home to St. Cyril & Methodius Slovak Catholic Church for Funeral Mass at 10:30am.
