Obituary of Katherine Dunn

DUNN, Katherine (nee Blackmore) Passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, June 14 2017. Beloved wife to the late Leonard Dunn (1998) and loving mother to the late Mary Lou (2014). Cherished mother of Patti Chimienti (Joe), Jim Dunn (Elaine), Mary Chaborek (Tom), Peter Dunn (Sherry) and Gail Cooper (Brent). Proud grandma of Joe (Jenn), Bryan (Cathy), Mark (Sheridan), Jimmy (Skye), Joey, Ashley (Mike), Lacey (Brad), Brittany (Jesse), Sarah, Amy (Eric), Cameron, Samantha (Jakob), Amanda (Bill), Kevin, Debbie, Donna and Kenny. Great Grandma Cat to Sabrina (Mike), Angellina, Max, Jess, Angie, Danika, Savannah, Addison, Isaac with two on the way and our little guardian angel in heaven. Sister in law to Judy, Betty, Sharon, John, Lorraine, Stan and Joanne. She will missed dearly by many nieces and nephews and her fur babies Polly and Molly. Best friend of Edna Walker. Predeceased by her parents Bill and Hilda, siblings Dorothy, Joyce, Peggy, Jimmy and Billy and in-laws Mike, Gail, Freddy and Stuart. Our loving mother"s passion in life was caring for her children and grandchildren. It was an honour and a pleasure to take care of our mother in the later years of her life until she left us to join our father and sister. Our lives have been enriched by her presence and we will carry the lessons she taught us"we will miss her forever. Visitation will be held at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Central Chapel) 1700 Tecumseh Rd. East 519-253-7234 on Friday June 16, 2017 from 2-5 and 7-9pm. Visitation will continue on Saturday June 17 from 10am until the time of Chapel Service at 11am. Burial to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery, 5005 Howard Ave, LaSalle. In kindness, donations may be made in Katherine"s name to The Alzheimer Society of Windsor Essex County.
