Obituary of Zalka Pirih

Peacefully on May 22, 2017, Zalka went into the arms of the Lord to be reunited with her husband Florijan. Predeceased by her parents, Josef and Marija Mustar, and by brothers, Joze Mustar, and Ivan Mustar along with sisters, Marija Vidmar and Julka Luzar. Dear twin sister to Anna Novak, of Windsor, and sister to Pepca Babic-Novak, Milka Babic, Antonija Zupancic, and Joze Mustar, all of Slovenia. Zalka will be deeply missed by many nephews and nieces, especially Danny (Janice) Mustar, John (Sharon) Novak, Kathy (Wayne) Burhoe. She was a devoted member of the Windsor Slovenian Club and a dedicated parishioner of Most Precious Blood Church. A special thank you to the staff at Windsor Regional Hospital " Met Campus, for their exceptional and compassionate care. Friends are invited to attend visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Central Chapel), 1700 Tecumseh Road, East, 519-253-7234, on Thursday, May 25, 2017 from 2:00 pm " 4:00 pm and from 7:00 pm " 9:00 pm. Parish prayers to take place at 7:30 pm. Friends are welcomed to join Zalka"s family at Most Precious Blood Church, 1947 Meldrum Road, on Friday, May 26, 2017 at 10:00 am until the time of funeral mass at 10:30 am. Cremation will follow. For those who wish, memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Most Precious Blood Church would be appreciated by Zalka"s family.
