Obituary of Joseph James Hayward

HAYWARD, James"Passed away peacefully in his loving wife's arms on May 16, 2017 after a hard-fought battle with pulmonary fibrosis. Loving husband and best friend to Kathryn Hayward (Parent) for over 49 years.Loving Father to Jamie (Teresa), Connie Carter (Keith), Andrew James (1978), and Marnie (Eric Laliberty)Cherished Papa to Joshua, Kyler, Tyler, Katherine, Kassidy, Lucas, Aubrey and Kennedy. Predeceased by parents Donald and Margaret Ann Hayward, and In-laws Lorin and Iris Parent. Beloved brother to Donald (Barb), Becky Richards (Greg), Debbie Yates (John), Ken (2016) (Ruth). He is also survived by his sister and brother-in-law"s Jim (Randa), Linda, Pat (Bob), Bob, Mary Lou (Dann) and Maggie. Good friend of Jimmy Church. Jim worked as an OHL hockey scout for over 40 years, and will be missed by many from the hockey community. He was also a dedicated employee of Gen-Auto, retired after 47 years.Jim was an avid guitarist with a passion for music, and ceaselessly inspired his grandchildren with that same passion.
