GIRARD, Daniel Albert "Dan"Passed away peacefully at home on May 8, 2017 at the age of 67 with his loving wife of 41 years Shirley by his side. Predeceaased by his parents Jeanne & Albert Girard. Dear brother of Pam Girard, Michelle Girard, Marguerite Miceli (Carlo). Brother in law to Sherrie & James Hickey. Dear nephew of Joy Cox,Leo and Vivian Girard and best friend of Dave & Judy Howe. Dear uncle of Timarie (Amsie) Brent (Shelby) Gillian (Collin) Ashlie (Ryan) Matthew (Meghan). Dan was the owner of Al Girard Flowers for over 30 years. He enjoyed gardening, classic books, crossword puzzles and loved Jethro Tull and Pink Floyd. Visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Banwell Chapel) 11677 Tecumseh Rd. E. 519-253-7234 on Thursday, May 11, 2017 from 2-5 & 7-9 pm. Funeral service at 7:30 p.m with cremation to follow. In kindness, donations may be made to the Lung Association.
