MARCOCCIA, Federico "Fred" Born in Veroli, Italy on July 3, 1939, passed away peacefully on February 10, 2017 in Windsor at 77 years of age. Beloved husband of Maria with whom he shared 55 years of marriage. Dear father of Marco and partner Trish. Dear Nonno of Travis and partner Jennise and Bisnonno of baby Sophia. Predeceased by parents Giulio and Domenica. Beloved brother of Franca and husband Lorenzo (predeceased), Ida (predeceased) and husband Vincenzo, Lucia and husband Domenico, Umberto and wife Giuseppina, Agnese (predeceased) and adopted brother Umberto (predeceased) and wife Assunta. Dear son-in-law of the late Dante and Quirina. Dear brother-in-law of Ida and husband Joe and Yolanda and husband Domenic. Federico retired from the Greater Essex County District School Board after 30 years of dedicated service. He was also a proud member of the Ciociaro Club of Windsor. A special thank you to the staff and doctors at Hospice of Windsor, the Hotel Dieu Grace Health Care and Dr. Y. Emara Palliative Care Unit for their loving care and compassion. It will never be forgotten. Donations to In Honour of the One's We Love or Hospice of Windsor would be appreciated. Visitation will be held Tuesday, February 14, 2017 at Windsor Chapel (Banwell Chapel) 11677 Tecumseh Rd. E. 519-253-7234 from 2:30 to 5:00 and 7:00 to 9:00pm. Prayers Tuesday at 4:30pm. Funeral Service on Wednesday, February 15, 2017 at 8:30 from the Funeral Home then to St. Angela Merici Church for Funeral Mass at 9:30am. Entombment to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
