Obituary of Alfeo Masotti

MASOTTI, Alfeo July 21, 1930 - February 3, 2017 Passed away peacefully with his family by his side. Reunited with his beloved wife Anita (nee Prolongo) (2004) with whom he shared 51 years of marriage. Loving and devoted father to Robert (Michelle), Margaret (Roy Gibb) and Larry (Barbara). Best friend of 11 years to Ada Pizzolitto. Cherished Nonno to Livia, Danny, Michael, Sarah, Tania, Dina, Christian, Ryan, Jenna, and 12 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by brother Bepi Masotti and surviving spouse Gelinda of Fonthill, late sister Ester and husband Arturo Candussi. Dear brother-in-law to Meri and husband Gianni Belotti of Michigan. Alfeo is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Alfeo was a founding and active member of the Fogolar Furlan Club. Retired after 38 years of service from Canadian National Railways. Visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Central Chapel),1700 Tecumseh Rd. E., 519-253-7234, on Tuesday, February 7, 2017, from 2-5p.m. and 7-9p.m. Parish prayers Tuesday at 4:30 p.m. Funeral Services on Wednesday, February 8, 2017, at 10:15 a.m. from the Funeral Home then to St. Angela Merici Church (980 Louis Ave. at Erie St. E.) for Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. Entombment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
