Obituary of Anton Vuksan

VUKSAN, Anton "Tony" Born July 25, 1933 in Kamanje, Croatia. Passed away peacefully on January 27, 2017 at Leamington District Memorial Hospital at the age of 83 years. Reunited with his wife Katarina "Kata" (nee Martinic)(2012). Dear father to Ivan and wife Connie Vuksan of Harrow, Mary and husband Ernest Rumi of Tecumseh, and Tony Vuksan of Huntsville, Ontario. Caring Grandpa to David and wife Carolyn, Chris and Stacey, Katherine, Sonia and husband Dave, Ernie and wife Martina, Ava, Evelyn and Holden. Great-grandpa to Jason, Nicole, Jordan, Kelly and Brooke, Kayla, Conner, Cadence, Dylan, Nate and Nash. Predeceased by parents Ivan and Mary Vuksan, brother Stjepan Ivancic and sister Ana Ribaric. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Anton was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Croatian Catholic Church. He retired from the former Dominion Forge Ltd after 24 years of dedicated service. Visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Banwell Chapel) 11677 Tecumseh Rd. E. 519.253.7234 on Tuesday, January 31, 2017 from 3-5pm and 7-9pm with Parish Prayers at 8pm. Funeral Service on Wednesday, February 1st, 2017 at 9:45am from the funeral home then to St. Francis of Assisi Croatian Catholic Church for Funeral Mass at 10:30am. Entombment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to St. Francis of Assisi Croatian Church Building Fund, or The Parkinson's Society.
