Obituary of Elphedge Joseph Chapieski

CHAPIESKI, Elphedge Joseph Sept. 24, 1934 - Jan. 22, 2017. "Elphy" or "Ralph" passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side. A beloved husband finally reunited with his soul mate Helen (n"e T"treault, married 56 years). He was a devoted father to Wayne Chapieski , Brian Chapieski (Debbie), Debbie Quenneville (Ray) and Kevin Chapieski (Lori). He was a cherished grandfather to Ken, Kim, Nicole, Jason, Meaghan and Brittany. He was a loving great grandfather to Brian, Sienna, Payton, Liam, Olivia, Nolan, Emmitt, Cohen and Gabriel (on the way). He is predeceased by his parents Anthony and Marie Chapieski as well as 4 siblings. "Elphy/Ralph" will not be forgotten by long-time family friend Fran Shorten and many nieces and nephews. He was also a part of the Canada Salvage business for over 60 years and will truly be missed by all. Friends will be received at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Central Chapel) 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. on Tuesday, January 24th from 3-5pm and 7-9pm. Visitation will also be held on Wednesday, January 25th from 9:30am until the Funeral Service at 11am in the Chapel. Interment to follow at St. Anne"s Cemetery, Tecumseh. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
