FORMICUCCIA, MARIA (nee Di Rosa) It is with saddened hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Maria on December 29, 2016 at 93 years of age. Reunited with her loving husband Americo. Cherished mother of Joe Formicuccia and wife Lucy, Lucy Imola and husband Tony and Rino Formicuccia and wife Mimma. Adored nonna of Cristina Corio and husband Tony, Lisa Spada and husband Roberto, Stephanie Imola, Laura Olivito and husband Nick, Rino Formicuccia, Anthony Formicuccia, Domenic Formicuccia and Nicola Formicuccia. Treasured bis-nonna of Matteo Spada and Mia Olivito. Predeceased by her brothers Giuseppe, Sandro, Rinaldo, Luigi, Italo and sister Ines. She will also be missed by many nieces, nephews and other extended family. Visitation will be held at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Banwell Chapel) 519-253-7234, 11677 Tecumseh Rd. East on Friday December 30, 2016 from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Prayers Friday at 4:30 p.m. On Saturday December 31, 2016 relatives and friends are invited to meet directly at St. Angela Merici Church for Funeral Mass at 9:30 a.m. Entombment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
