Obituary of Dino Dominato

Passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on November 26, 2016 at the age of 85. Reunited with his loving wife Annette (nee Laliberte, 2008). Cherished father to Victor and wife Janis, Angela and husband Kevin Lambing, Michelle and husband Steve Litster, Lisa and husband Jim Trombley, Janet Hebert and partner Roman, Paula and husband Leonard Tetreault. Proud Papa to Daniel and Samantha, Ben, Adam; Mathew and Melissa, Alea, Allison; Shaun and Annie, Julie and Kirk, Michael and Jen, Justine and Rob; Stacey, Emily and Marco, Dale and Jessica Luke; Dean, Alysse and Shane; Erin, Renee and Kyle, Robyn. Papa Dino to Oliva, Paxton; Mary; Ruby, Eve; Jack; Cassidy, Myles; Enzo, Baby Tontodonati; Cashus and Poppi. Predeceased by sisters Mary Minello (Ron), Antonia Dominato, Rita Dupuis (Ron). Dino was the co-founder and co-owner of TATE Industrial Sales from 1968, until his retirement. He was a long standing volunteer for Meals on Wheels for over 25 years, as well as an usher at Corpus Christi Church. Dino was an avid traveler, visiting over 60 countries around the World. He had a heart of gold to those who knew him. A heartfelt thank you to those who visited and spent time with him during his final weeks and a very special thank you to the staff at Seasons Royal Oak Memory Care for their outstanding personal service, as well as the staff at Aspen Lake Nursing Home Memory Care Tecumseh Village. Visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Central Chapel) 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. 519-253-7234 on Tuesday November 29, 2016 from 2-5 pm and 7-9 pm. Prayers at 7:30 pm. Family and friends will be received at Corpus Christi Church (1400 Cabana Rd. W) on Wednesday November 30, 2016 from 10:00 am until time of Funeral Mass at 11:00 am. Private Family interment to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Dino to his favourite charities, Parkinson's Society Southwestern Ontario, Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada (Windsor Chapter), or Windsor Essex Cancer Society.
