Obituary of Marija Dosen

<br/><br/><br/>DOSEN (nee Mesic), Marija<br/>Departed for Heaven on September 13th in her 92nd year to be with her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.<br/>Reunited with her husband, Martin (2009).<br/>Loving mother of Jure Dosen, Kata (Kevin) Holdren, Dragan (Cathy) Dosen and Ankica (Paul) Badour.<br/>Dearest Baba to Karen Holdren (Justin), Gregory Holdren (Jessica), Melissa Holdren (Nir), Diane, George, and Daniel Dosen, Zachary, Luke, Matthew and Joseph Badour. <br/>Predeceased by her sisters Ana and Tonka and her two brothers Ivan and Marko all of Croatia. <br/>Marija was very proud of her Croatian heritage and involvement in the Croatian community. She was a faithful member of St. Francis of Assisi Croatian Church.<br/>she enjoyed baking, cooking and gardening. Marija shared her love of baking with her family, neighbours and friends.<br/> She will be remembered and missed by many nieces, nephews and cousins in Canada and Croatia.<br/>Many thanks to the Hospice of Windsor residential home staff for their care and compassion.<br/>Special thanks to Dr. Steven Rukavina for his kindness to our mother and to our family.<br/>As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to St. Francis of Assisi Croatian Church Building Fund or the Hospice of Windsor Residential Home. <br/><br/>Visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL CENTRAL, 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. 519-253-7234, on Wednesday September 16th, 2020 from 2 to 4:30 and 7 to 9 p.m. (Reservations are NOT needed).
