Obituary of Giulia Spadafora

SPADAFORA, Giulia (Nee De Rose) Passed away peacefully on November 22, 2016 with her brother at her side. Beloved wife of Michele (August 17, 1999). Survived by her brother Salvatore (Lina) De Rose. Predeceased by her brother Antonio De Rose (November 21, 2015). Survived by her sister-in-law Virginia De Rose. Dear Aunt of nephews Dr. Robert (Linda nee Borrelli) De Rose, Dr. Gaetano (Jan) De Rose, Onorio De Rose, Carlo (Anita) De Rose and niece Rosa Cipparrone. Also survived by nieces and nephews in Italy; Alberto, Maria, Pina, Franca, Giuseppe, Emma, Ippolito, Maurio, Dorina, Emilia, Maurio, Ippolito and Gennaro. A special thank you to all the doctors and nurses that cared for her during her time at Hotel Dieu-Ouellette Campus. Giulia's family would like to acknowledge the special care she received over the years from the wonderful staff of CCAC, in particluar Dawn Douglas. A special and sincere thank you to her physician Dr. K.F. Chung who not only made house calls but cared for her to the very end. Visitation will be held at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Central Chapel) 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. 519 253-7234 on Sunday November 27, 2016 from 3-5 & 7-9 p.m. Prayer Service at 4:30 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Monday November 28, 2016 at 8:45 a.m. from the funeral home then to St. Angela Merici Church (980 Louis Ave.) for funeral Mass at 9:30 a.m. Entombment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
