Obituary of Ardelia Antonia Vadori

Vadori, Ardelia "Arda" nee Stocco Born June 7, 1936 in Windsor. Died peacefully at home surrounded by her family on November 17, 2016. Married 59 loving years to the late Lino (2014). Dedicated mother to Bert Vadori (wife Diane), Diane Brescacin (husband JP), and Donna Vadori (late husband Luigi Catani). Loving Nonna to six grandchildren, Greg (Kelly), Chris, Carly (Brian), Jenna, Jordan, and Michele and 3 great-grandchildren, Jaxon, Nash, and London Grace. Daughter to the late Riccardo and Guiliana. Survived by her sister, Marilla, and predeceased by sisters, Clara and Elsa. Will be sadly missed by many extended family members and friends. Arda was a member of the CWL at Most Precious Blood Parish, where she liked to frequently attend weekly mass, and lent a helping hand by folding children"s bulletins. Her generosity, sense of humour, and fun loving nature is what gained her many of friends over the years. Arda"s skill of crocheting and cannoli making kept her active. The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to Fr. Greg, staff of the WRH- Met Campus CCU, caring neighbours Grant and Louise, and all family members who have helped the family through this difficult time. Visitation will be held at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Central Chapel) 1700 Tecumseh Rd E, 519.253.7234 on Friday, November 18, 2016 from 3-5 & 7-9pm. Prayers at 7:30pm. Funeral Services on Saturday, November 19, 2016 at 9:15 a.m. from the Funeral Home then to Most Precious Blood Church (1947 Meldrum) for Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. In honour of Arda"s wishes, cremation will follow.
