Obituary of John Jan Baca

John Baca passed away peacefully on November 9, 2016. He was born in Czechoslovakia on February 13, 1935 and came to Canada as a young boy. He lived in Canada for most of his life except for a short stint in the US Army. For the last 30 years he shared his life with his youngest brother George. The brothers looked after and cared for each other. John was a faithful member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish. He was an avid golfer in his youth and always an avid Spitfire fan. He worked at Horseshoe Battery, Howard Battery and Little River and Roseland Golf Courses He is survived by siblings are Mary, Ann, Steve, Frank, George, Beatrice and Margret. He is predeceased by his parents, Steve and Elizabeth, brother Andy and sisters, Helen and Elizabeth. The family thanks the compassionate care givers in the Tayfour Complex Care Unit, who eased John"s passing. A private family service will be held.
