Obituary of Marisa Zorzit

Passed away peacefully at home, with her loving family by her side, on October 30, 2016. Beloved wife, mother, nonna, sister and friend. Much loved wife of Carlo with whom she celebrated 46 years of marriage. Marisa will be forever missed by her daughter Jennifer and husband Ryan Itterman, and her late son Steven Zorzit (1981). She will be sadly missed by her treasured grandchildren, Steven, Michael and Aurora. Predeceased by her parents, Giuseppe (1985) and Onoria Blaseotto (2009). Cherished sister of Bob Blaseotto and wife Ornella, Rosanne and husband Rick Sbrocca and special Aunt to Joe Sbrocca. Adored sister-in-law of Ugo and wife Gianna Zorzit and family and Franco and wife Bepina Zorzit and family. Beloved niece of Ernesto (the late Anita) Nadalin and family and Angelo and Gabriela Nadalin and family. Also, survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Marisa"s passion in life was to enrich and care for those around her " family, friends and the students she taught were blessed with her love. Thanks to the many caregivers, Dr. Patrick Smith, the nurses and doctors at the London Health Sciences Centre, Windsor Regional Hospital " Met Campus and Hospice/VON who cared for Marisa. Visitation will be held at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Banwell Chapel) 11677 Tecumseh Rd East, 519.253.7234 on Wednesday, November 2, 2016 from 2-5 & 7-9pm. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, November 4, 2016 at 11am in the Chapel. Interment will follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
