Obituary of Maria Zongaro

Passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on October 24, 2016 at 88 years of age. Reunited with her beloved husband Mario (1998) of 45 years. Loving mother of Laura Faas (Gord), Bruno, Sue and Sonia Colombo (Steve). Cherished Nonna of Michael (Megan), Brian (Nicola), Derek (Samantha), Karl, Vince, Jeremy and Andrea. Loving Bis-Nonna of 6 great-grandchildren and 4 step-great-grandchildren. Maria will be missed by her family in Italy, Australia and Toronto. She will be remembered as an excellent cook, seamstress and gardener. Visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Central Chapel) 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. 519-253-7234 on Wednesday, October 26, 2016 from 3-5pm and 7-9pm. Parish Prayers at 7:30 pm. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday October 27, 2016 at 8:45 am from the Funeral Home to St. Angela Merici Church for Funeral Mass at 9:30 am. Entombment to follow at Windsor Memorial Gardens.
