APOPEI, Maria (Nee Monu) It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Maria on Sunday, September 25, 2016 at the age of 83 years. Born in Lungani, Romania. Beloved wife of late Costache Apopei (1989). Loving mother of Maria "Maricica" (Mihai) Petras and Iuliana "Lily" (Adrian) Petean. Cherished grandmother of Alexandra Popa & Teodora (Cristian) Chirila from Romania and Marius (Denisa) Petean, Bianca & Lisa Petean from Canada. Proud great grandmother of Mark Popa, David Chirila and Leo Petean. Maria will be dearly missed by many Brothers and Sisters in Christ from Bethel Romanian Pentecostal Church, Windsor, ON. She is remembered by most for her love and dedication of Christ. Visitation will be held at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Banwell Chapel) 11677 Tecumseh Rd. E. 519-253-7234 on Tuesday, September 27, 2016 from 6:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Prayer Service starts at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Service on Wednesday, September 28, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. in the Chapel.
