Obituary of Stanley Wojcik

WOJCIK, Stanley We the family of Stanley Wojcik, sadly announce his passing on August 24, 2016 at 92 years of age. He is welcomed into eternal life by his cherished wife Wanda, his parents, brothers and many dear friends. He is survived by his son Jan (Christine) of Ottawa and his daughter Laura Levinsky (John) of Tecumseh. He was a long standing member of the Knights of Columbus, Third Degree Windsor Council #1453 and a Fourth Degree Member of the Dean Wagner Assembly #0862. He was retired from the former Windsor Utilities Commission Hydro Division (now Enwin). He was a proud WWII Royal Canadian Air Force Veteran. We invite you to celebrate Stan"s life with visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Banwell Chapel) 11677 Tecumseh Rd E. 519-253-7234 on Monday August 29, 2016 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. A Veteran"s Service under the auspices of The Windsor Veterans Memorial Services Committee will take place on Monday at 3:00 p.m. Knights of Columbus Third and Fourth Degree Prayers Monday at 7:30 p.m. Colour Guard is requested to gather at 7:00 p.m. Visitation will continue on Tuesday August 30, 2016 at Most Precious Blood Church (1947 Meldrum Rd. at Tecumseh Rd E.) from 10:00 a.m. until time of Mass at 11:00 a.m. Entombment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery. In kindness, donations may be made to Leamington District Memorial Hospital (LDMH) in recognition of their outstanding care or the Windsor Essex County Cancer Centre Foundation (WECCCF).
