Obituary of John Joseph Simpson

Passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family at the age of 82 on August 20, 2016. Forever the soulmate of Beatrice (nee Lamarche), with whom he celebrated 59 wonderful years of marriage with. Loving father to John and wife Sharron Simpson, Patrick and wife Monica Simpson, and Sandra and husband Brian Monaghan. Proud Pepe to Trevor, Cody (May 24, 2003), Kelly, Dalton, Veronica, Spencer and Zachary. Dear brother to Ernie and wife Judy Simpson, and Rose Waskowiz and her late husband Hank. He will be missed by nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. John was a 3rd and 4th degree member of the Knight of Columbus Council #4375, as well as an usher for St. Anne Church (Tecumseh) for over 25 years. Visiting at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (Banwell Chapel) 519-253-7234 11677 Tecumseh Rd. E. on Tuesday August 23, 2016 from 3-5 pm and 7-9 pm. Parish prayers at 4:30 pm and Knights of Columbus prayers at 7:30 pm. Funeral Service on Wednesday August 24, 2016 at 11:30 am from the funeral home then to St. Anne Church (12233 Tecumseh Rd. E.) for Mass at 12:00 pm. Interment to follow at St. Anne's Cemetery. In memory of John, memorial donations may be made to St. Anne Church Building Fund.
