Obituary of Linda Farrah

LINDA FARRAH, (nee Bechara) June 13, 1930 - July 16, 2016 With heavy hearts we are sad to announce that Linda passed away with her loving family by her side at the age of 86. She touched the lives of so many and this will never be forgotten. Predeceased by her husband Michael Farrah. Leaving behind "as she called it, her little village" of 14 chidren, JoAnne and Dave Horton, Margaret Farrah, Marie and Steve Virag, Tony and Anne Farrah, Julie and Emil Lendorf, Joe and Vicky Farrah, Anne Girard, Laurie and Craig Hussey, Chris and Barb Farrah, Michelle and Serafino Ingolfo, predeceased by Michael (1946), David (1956), Joseph (1959) and John (1961). Predeceased by son-in-laws Robert Smith and Ronald Girard. Survived by sister Mary and predeceased by sisters Sadie and Evelyn and brothers Michael and Tony. Cherished grandmother of 30 grandchildren, and 24 great-grandchildren. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Special thanks to Dr. Butler, Dr. Zayouni and all the nursing staff from Windsor Regional Hospital Metropolitan Campus. Visitation at the WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (East Chapel) 519-253-7234 11677 Tecumseh Rd. E. on Tuesday, July 19 2016, from 3 -5 and 7 - 9pm. Parish Prayers Tuesday at 4:30pm. Relatives and friends will be received for visitation at St. John Vianney Church (385 Dieppe St.) on Wednesday, July 20 2016, from 10am until time of Funeral Mass at 10:30am. Interment to follow at Windsor Memorial Gardens Cemetery. In memory of Linda, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario or to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
