Obituary of Guilmond McLaughlin

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Guilmond McLaughlin, age 85, after a courageous battle from cancer. Guilmond leaves behind his loving wife Marie-Ange, son Brian (Brenda), daughter Brenda (John), son Larry (Sharilyn), Jonathan, Jason (Melanie). Guilmond also leaves behind his grandchildren, Melissa and husband Greg, Chad, Shannon, Sarah, Stacey, Nathan, Christian, Rogan, Leah Eve, Emilie & his great-grandchildren, Lucas, Liam & Emily. Fondly remembered by brothers Roger, Archie (Norma), Ronnie (Doreena) and 1 sister Levina (Bill). Predeceased by Walter (Mary), Melvin (Delia) and Jerry (Elaine). He will be sadly missed by all his nieces & nephews. Special thanks to the Hospice of Windsor for their compassionate care during dads stay. A heartfelt thank you to Jim Renaud , dads nurse for 4 years, for the wonderful care and dedication provided to Guilmond and his family. Also, many thanks to all the healthcare providers who were involved in our fathers care to ensure he was comfortable during his final journey. Cremation has taken place. Memorial visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (Central Chapel) 519.253.7234 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. on Monday, May 30, 2016 from 7:00 pm until time of Memorial Service in the Chapel at 8:00 pm. During the visiting hour, light snacks, tea, and coffee will be serviced to the visitors. As an expression of sympathy, donations can be made to Hospice of Windsor.
