Obituary of Onofria "Nora" Manzone

MANZONE, Onofria “Nora” It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing, of Nora, surrounded by her children, on Sunday, August 30, 2020 at the age of 89. Reunited with her beloved husband, Pasquale, with whom she shared 45 years of marriage. Cherished mother to Mary (Tony) Raco, Anna (Salvatore) Greco, and Joe Manzone. Treasured Nonna to Michael Raco (Diana Gesuale), Stephen (Tracey) Raco, Amanda (Jon-Carlo) Faria, Nina Greco (Joshua Bianchi), Danny (Melissa) Greco, Patrick Greco (Amanda Motta), Patrick Manzone (Jill Dolianitis), Cassandra Manzone, and Emilia Manzone. Proud Bis-Nonna to Talisa, Teo, Ava, Avery, Lennon, and Callie. Predeceased by her parents, Giovanni and Giovanna Scalia. Much-loved sister to the late Domenica (the late Antonio) Piazza, the late Gaetana (the late Stefano) Geraci, the late Giuseppe (the late Assunta) Scalia, Angelina (the late Giovanni) Milana, and Elena (the late Andrea) Salemi. Nora will be remembered fondly by her nieces and nephews in Canada and the United States and Italy. Pasquale and Nora would often be found in the kitchen dancing to the music they loved. They cherished their family and would keep their close family traditions alive by being together. We will miss her beautiful spirit.
