Obituary of Sophie Moxon

MOXON, Sophie (Nee Trach) It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Sophie on Sunday, May 8, 2016 at the WRH at the age of 90 years. Cherished wife of Stanley (2011) sharing 64 years of marriage together. Loving mother of Lynda and mother-in-law of Bob Boyle. Caring grand mother of Jennifer (Trevor) Morrow and Daniel (Melissa) Boyle. Proud great grand mother of Sarah, Emily, Lucas and Kaitlyn. Dear sister of the late Mary, Olga, Bill, Don and is survived by sister Irene Trach. She will be missed by sister-in-law Dorothy Mortenson and brother in-law Don Moxon. A special thank you to Dr. Mara Bilibajkich, Dr. Zayouna, Dr. Naidu and especially Nurses Amie & Karen of the 4th Floor, who gave her outstanding care, comfort, and compassion in her final hours. Sophie loved the annual trips to Florida and spending quality time with her Family. Visiting will be held at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (Central Chapel) 519-253-7234, 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. on Wednesday, May 11, 2016 from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 12, 2016, in the Chapel. Interment to follow at Victoria Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
