Obituary of Mary Macfarlane

Mary Macfarlane (Nee Sawchuk) It is with heavy hearts that the Macfarlane family announces the passing of their beloved Mary on April 3, 2016 at The Villages of St. Clair at the age of 91 years. Born in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Beloved wife of Malcolm Macfarlane (1983) and long time companion of Cecil Scott of 18 years. Cherished mother of Stephen (2008), Duncan (Elaine) and Malcolm (Marianne) Macfarlane. Precious grandmother of Jason (Elizabeth), Derek (2003), Deborah and Cheryl Macfarlane. Proud great grandmother of the future leaders of tomorrow Natasha and Gabriella Macfarlane. She will be missed by many nieces and nephews. As a young woman Mary loved Piloting and Flying Airplanes. Mary was happiest while dancing, sewing, playing Bridge and spending time with family. As per Mary's wishes Cremation has taken place. A private family Interment will be held at a later date at Heavenly Rest Cemetery. As your expression of sympathy donations made in memory of Mary to the Alzheimer Society of Windsor & Essex County are welcomed and appreciated by the family.
