Obituary of Marilyn Murphy

MURPHY, Marilyn Louise (Johnson) With broken hearts, we announce the passing of our mom Marilyn, on August 25, 2020. She is finally reunited with her husband and best friend, Donald Michael Murphy (2006) Loving mother of Michael, Terry (Janey), Christina (Michael MacIsaac) and Marc (Mackenzie). Loved and adored by her 7 grandchildren, Shae-Lyn, Tia, Quinn and Blake MacIsaac, Rhyan & Kaden Murphy and Matthew Murphy. Pre-deceased by her parents Doris (Suhan) and Maurice Johnson and her sister Carol Solomon. Survived by several nieces and nephews and many relatives. Marilyn was sought out by Ford Motor Co. while still in high school, as she was an accomplished typist. She enjoyed many years working there in the compensation office. Her family was always her main priority and enjoyed watching her children play sports, having lots of kids over to the house and loved camping trips together as a family. Marilyn loved raising her children on St. Mary's Blvd. and loved all her neighbors. In later years, Marilyn participated in tai chi, woman on weights, the senior centre & The Red Hat Society. Marilyn enjoyed many years volunteering at Aids Committee of Windsor. Mom, we are so proud of you, for always beating the odds, year after year. You have been through so much over the years, yet you were always able to smile. You were there for our first breath, and we are so grateful to all have been there for your last. Give our love to Dad, we know he is waiting for you. We will love and miss you both everyday of our lives, until we meet again.
