Obituary of Arno Erdmann

ERDMANN, Arno On March 6, 2016 at 85 years of age, the Lord took Arno home to be with his beloved wife Katherine (2002) in heaven. Loving and devoted father of Rosemarie and husband David Howie, Monika Erdmann, and Annette and husband Craig Baxter. Cherished Opa of Andrew, Alexander, Michael and Marisa. Pre-deceased by his parents Maria and Reinhold and sister Gerda. He is survived by his brother Reinhold and wife Helga. Arno was a dedicated Tool and Die leader at Windsor Tool and Die for 42 years, Past President of Teutonia Club for 22 years and long serving member, Vice-President of Danube Schwabian Verband, board member of the German Canadian Congress and a long-time member of First Lutheran Church of Windsor. Visiting at the WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (Main Chapel) 519 253-7234, 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. on Thursday March 10, 2016 from 3-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Relatives and friends are requested to meet at First Lutheran Church, 160 Giles Blvd. W. on Friday, March 11, 2016 from 10:30 a.m. until time of funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Pastor Gilvan de Azevedo officiating. Interment to follow at Victoria Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Memorial donations to First Lutheran Church would be appreciated by the family.
