Obituary of Magda Banjavcic

BANJAVCIC, Magda (nee Mrzljak) It is with broken hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Magda , a loving Mother & Baka on February 21, 2016 at the age of 69 years. Survived by Ivan Banjavcic. Loving and devoted mother to Jackie Kivisto (Dean) and Terry Banjavcic (Jackie). Cherished Baka to Rebecca, Curtis, Tyler and Ella. Dear sister to Anka, Kata, Marijan, Drago and Joza all of Croatia, Slovenia and Germany. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and family in Croatia. Magda retired from the GM Trim Plant with over 25 years of dedicated service, and was a faithful and devoted member of St. Francis of Assisi Church. Magda's greatest pride in her life was her beloved grandchildren, which she spoiled to her fullest. Visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (Main Chapel) 519.253.7234 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. on Wednesday, February 24, 2016 from 6-9 pm. Funeral Service on Thursday, February 25, 2016 at 9:15 am from the funeral home then to St. Francis of Assisi Croatian Catholic Church (1701 Turner Rd.) for Funeral Mass at 10 am. Entombment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations in memory of Magda may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Ontario.
